MEW's Jewels Vintage Earrings Gallery! Here you'll find many vintage
styles from early 20th century to the mid 1980's in screw-back,
clip-on and pierced attachments. We try to reunite earrings with
their parure mates, but after awhile we decide to list them alone
based on their beauty and uniqueness. When ever there is another
piece that marries beautifully with a set of earrings a reference
will be made within the listing pointing you to that perfect mate.

I've had pierced ears since the early 1970's and two holes more
recently. I wear earrings every day and most times utilize both
holes. Classic, dangles, tassels, unique and colorful describes my
taste. You will find those qualities and more in MEW's Jewels

rhinestones, enamel, bold and conservative styles. My middle aged
earlobes don't take too kindly to very heavy styles so weight will
always be noted within the listing in that case. Remember, clip-ons
can alleviate the droop on weightier styles so don't count them out
all together if that's what you like.
Of course coloring,
face shape, hair style and age all have a lot to do with what styles
you can wear attractively, but the bottom line for me is comfort and
do I feel confident when I look in the mirror? Confidence & delight
- isn't that why we wear vintage and new accessories? When you find
a pair of vintage earrings that you love, stop and ask yourself,
does this match in era, metal color, stone color and proportion to
the piece I'm going to pair it with? Are they appropriate for
business wear? Also, how much use will I get out of them? Are they
versatile enough to wear both casually and for work? Are you a
