MEW's Jewels Vintage Bracelet Gallery! Bracelets can be a very fun
adornment or accessory! I prefer jingling charm bracelets, chunky
bangles and wide cuffs for most occasions. No matter what your
bracelet preference is you will find a wide variety of wrist
adornments at MEW's Jewels. Links, chains, tassels, dangles, enamel,
plastic, glass and rhinestone listings are available in
conservative, fun and bold styles.
In addition to a variety
of styles, you will find many sizes to choose from as well. If you
fall in love with a link bracelet that is too large for your wrist,
it may be easily shortened. If you have a large wrist you will find
numerous styles to choose from as well. Of course it's hard to gauge
whether a bracelet will fit even when given the length or diameter
because of the depth or width of the design. For each of MEW's
Jewels bracelet listings I try each bracelet on my 6 1/2" wrist and
will describe it's dimensions and how it fits me. In this way you
will have a good idea whether or not it will fit your wrist the way
you would like it to. It's very important to know your wrist
circumference when shopping for a bracelet on-line as well as the
occasion for which you will wear it.
You may ask, should I
wear a bracelet on my left wrist or your right wrist? You may find
that a bracelet is most comfortable on your non-dominant side. In
the late 19th century identical bracelets were worn one on each
wrist. Experiment to see what works for you. Think about your
activities during the day and decide which style is most practical.
Bangles are fun and musical worn in multiples on one wrist or both.
Bangles come in both oval and round shapes. The oval tends to be a
closer fit and usually has a clasp. Rounds are usually slipped over
the wrist. Remember that chunky round bangles and cuffs are not the
best choice for computer keyboarding. Close fitting bracelets are
most appropriate in that case. No matter what your bracelet
preference is you are sure to find something here that suits your
