Vintage 1940's Gold over Sterling Amber Glass Brooch           

A large Retro gold over sterling silver brooch featuring an enormous square stepped cut glass stone flanked by 5 curved and curled ribbons on each side. The 22mm square stone is immaculate in condition with the gold worn on the high points of the sterling silver setting. Dimensions are 1 1/2" L x 2 5/8" W x 5/8" H.  The hallmark STERLING is imprinted on the reverse and the pin-back condition and functionality are excellent.
