Coventry Sunflower Demi-parure
A very pretty vintage set by Sarah
Coventry called starburst. The metal is pale goldtone
each with a dark topaz plastic cabochon center molded
with prickly points tipped with metallic gold. The
petals seem to burst out from the center similar to the
atomic brooches of the 1950s. The clip-on earrings are a
bold 1 3/4" x 1 5/8" with the longer petals pointing up.
The brooch can be worn as a pendant as well by using the
hook bail on the reverse. The brooch measures 2 3/4" x 2
1/2". The condition of all components is excellent.
