Vintage Sarah Coventry ~ Peking     

Vintage Sarah Coventry green glass gumdrop cabochon tasseled demi-parure called Peking. A pretty filigree base surmounted by an openwork modified cross to which is attached a chain tassel. Although this set is called Peking it appears to have medieval heraldic features such as the set in faux gemstone, cross and the Fleur de Lis-like filigree base on the earrings. The brooch dimensions are 3 1/2" x 1 1/4" and can easily be transformed into a pendant by adding a bail and chain. The clip on earrings are 2 3/8" x 3/4". The condition on all components is excellent on this gently used vintage demi-parure.
