Vintage Vargas Manufacturing Gold Filled Glass Opal Rhinestone Necklace & Earrings           

A vintage 1950's Vargas Manufacturing gold filled pendant with a gorgeous glass opal center stone framed by clear rhinestones and surround by a four loop bow and a spray with baguette rhinestone terminals. Each loop is accented with a rhinestone and the double bail connects three linked rhinestones on each side.  A fine S link chain completes the 14 1/2"  long necklace and closes by spring ring clasp.  It's likely that this  was designed as a young woman's set. The  length can be easily changed by adding a necklace extender. Personally I think the motif says "grown woman"! The back of the pendant is stamped 1/20 10K GF and displays the graphic hallmark for Vargas Manufacturing. The clasp is stamped 1/20 12K GF. The screwback earrings are stamped with the Vargas hallmark. This vintage demi-parure is in excellent condition.
