Vintage Gold Filled Wire Work Cross Pendant Necklace             

A gold filled 18" rope chain suspends a 1 5/8" long x 1 1/8" wide wire construction cross pendant. The serrated edge round terminals are wire wrapping components by which the design was constructed. At the cross section, the two beams are bound and criss-crossed with additional wire. Central straight pins hold the two beams in a rigid open work configuration. The clasp hallmark reads, 1/20 12KT and has a banner graphic with a stylized S within. The condition is excellent.
