Vintage Whiting & Davis Glass Scarab Button Clip on Earrings

Vintage green molded glass cabochon scarab beetle earrings by Whiting & Davis set in an oval frame and held in place by dog tooth prongs. The outer edge is trimmed with a twisted rope style beading. Great attention to detail in this design. The open back setting reveals a hieroglyphic like design on the back of the scarabs. Dimensions are 1 1/8" x3/4" x 1/2" high. Attachment is by clips and the signature is imprinted on each earring, Whiting & Davis Mesh Bag Co. The condition is excellent with slight wear to the metal on the reverse side.
