Vintage Red Plastic Simulated Pearl Daisy Flower Screw-back Earrings                     

The construction is a double layer of petals riveted at the center with a prong setting for an off-white simulated button pearl. The petals are made of plastic cellulose acetate. The screw-back finding is rhodium plated and bears the trademark of Vargas Manufacturing Co of Providence RI est.ca. 1950. The condition is very good with 3 flea bite size black specks on one earring only visible with a jewelers loupe and one slightly ragged spot on a petal edge on the back.
