Vintage 1955-1960 Francois Faux Pearl Tassel Demi    

A vintage lacey and airy plastic pearl tassel necklace and drop earrings by Francois of Coro. Each elegant pearl is capped on each end with a lacey filigree goldtone finding. Textured oblong links complete the necklace with a dangling chain and pearl bead tassel. The bead drop earrings dangle from a goldtone button topped with a filigree cap. Attachment is by adjustable clip back. Dimensions are 23" long with a 4 3/4" tassel drop. The earrings measure 1 1/2" long. The stylized Francois signature is found on the reverse of the earrings and the hook closure on the necklace. This vintage necklace and earrings demi-parure is in excellent condition with the exception of some metal wear to the links (5 inches on each end) which had been in contact with skin when worn.
