Vintage 1960's Whiting & Davis Glass Topaz Hinged Bangle Bracelet

A very smart looking antiqued goldtone open work bangle featuring a slender oval center stone in glass topaz . The metal is goldtone with a flourished foliate pattern stamped on the surface and a narrow oval golden glass topaz stone set in a bezel/carnival setting mounted on a shield like platform which is turn is mounted on a navette shaped base. The stone and setting stands 3/8" high. Closure is by tongue clasp on the slightly oval bracelet with a safety chain attached. The interior diameter is 2 1/8" x 2 3/8". The width at the center stone is 1 3/4" tapering to 1/2" in the back. The signature Whiting & Davis Co Mesh Bags is stamped on the interior of the band. Excellent condition all around.
