Vintage 1960's Whiting & Davis Crystal  Intaglio Cameo Hinged Bangle

A beautify open-work slightly oval bangle with side tongue clasp and safety chain. The glass intaglio is carvival/bezel set and is 1 3/8" in diameter. An ornate goldtone applied border accentuates the Romanesque profile of a woman intaglio with raised laurel leaves encircling the bust on the edges of the stone. Olive leaves and olives complete the openwork design on the shoulders. The metal is antiqued goldtone with a pretty foliate design impressed on the bracelet. The interior diameter is 2 3/8" x 2 1/8" and the bracelet's circumference closed is 7 1/4". The signature Whiting & Davis co. Mesh Bags is found imprinted on the interior of the band. . The condition is excellent with minor patina on the raised bangle edges and  typical patina on the inside of the band for a bracelet that has been worn. The glass intaglio is mirror smooth.
