A gorgeous antique C 1940 reverse painted morphos butterfly wing pendant was the starting point for this necklace and earring design. The crystal cover is reverse painted with a tropical scene and the brilliant blue South American butterfly wing with flashes of violet is the water and sky background. The metal case is gold-washed brass.  The beaded strand and earrings components are as follows:

• faceted freshwater pearls

• blue topaz chip beads

• blueberry quartz faceted donut beads

• round faceted Swarovski crystal beads

• 14k gold filled wire and gold filled spring ring clasp
